🙂 ...and it only took me 9 years to post something new... LOL! 😁 Been away for a bit, but I'm back, and boy has the Marvel Universe and comics in general changed. Was surprised to see even after such a long layoff, people were still faving my stuff and following me, even with the chances of me posting something new was slim. But this made me stop in my old comic book hangout and see what had been going on in the current titles... and discovered a whole new batch of Marvel characters (and I mean HUGE!) that have come along since the last time I picked up a comic 9 years ago... and don't get me started on the price it now costs to buy and collect comics, let alone the MASSIVE amount of alternate covers each title has per month, 4-5 seems way excesive especially for the diehard collecter who has to buy everything released (raises hand in guilt for past crimes... lol), costing $30 or more for every variant!!!!!! After a longgggggggggggggggggggggggg hiatus from DA and drawing in general, felt the urge to put something new out. It took a couple of weeks of drawing/inking/coloring on breaks and lunch time at work, but I finally finished up my first batch of 5 chibi characters... DC Comic ones none-the-less! If you've seen my earlier work, you know I'm a diehard Marvel fan, rarely covering anything DC related. But to be honest, haven't followed any comics in such a long time... so my upcoming stuff will have a kinder, gentler slant to the DC Universe! Keeping fingers crossed, hoping to post twice a month. Like the tag lines says, it's been awhile since I've invested anytime into my artistic endeavors or DA itself. Call it what you will... work, women or just lack of interest in drawing, all have pulled me away from what use to be a passion for me. Now I'm not giving up the job or women, that's a given! lol! But, I've re-discovered the simple satisfaction of producing something with pencil & paper. Find myself doodling a lot more on my breaks at work and damn if it doesn't feel good!
